KUHOO FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “Kuhoo” or “Company” or “Us” or “We”) is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered under applicable Indian laws. Kuhoo is the owner of the mobile application “Kuhoo” (“App”), the website at www.kuhoo.com (“Website”), and associated online forms (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). Kuhoo provides educational loans directly under its NBFC license and also facilitates loans through its partner NBFCs and Banks (hereinafter referred to as “Lending Partners”).
By accessing or using the Platform, You (“User” or “You” or “Your”) agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms & Conditions”), which govern Your use of the Platform and the services offered, along with our Privacy Policy.
If You do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please refrain from using the Platform or services.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Kuhoo provides the following services (“Services”) to its Users through the Platform:
Providing educational loans for undergraduate and postgraduate courses directly or through its Lending Partners. Facilitating educational loans for postgraduate students wishing to study abroad directly or through its Lending Partners. Facilitating loans for upskilling courses directly or through its Lending Partners. For providing these Services, Kuhoo collects information from the Users and shares it with the Lending Partners. The collection, storage, usage, and transfer of User information are governed by the Privacy Policy.
The User confirms that all information provided to Kuhoo is true, accurate, and not misleading, and agrees to provide additional information as required for loan processing or servicing by Kuhoo or its Lending Partners.
The User agrees that loans offered directly by Kuhoo will be governed by Kuhoo’s loan agreement, while loans facilitated through Lending Partners will be governed by the respective loan agreement. The User and their heirs/executors shall comply with the terms of the applicable loan agreement.
The User further agrees to use the loan proceeds solely for the declared purpose and to repay the EMIs as per the repayment schedule in the loan documentation. Any delay in repayment will attract penalties/fees as per the applicable loan agreement.
Kuhoo may engage third-party service providers or agents to:
- Facilitate its Services;
- Provide the Services on its behalf;
- Perform Service-related functions; or
- Assist in analysing how the Services are used.
- The User acknowledges that these third-party providers may access personal information on a need-to-know basis to render Services. Such providers are contractually obligated to not disclose or misuse the information for any other purpose.
COLLECTION
The User agrees to:
- Allow Kuhoo (or its third-party service providers), on behalf of Kuhoo or its Lending Partners, to send You payment reminders from time to time.
- Allow Kuhoo (or its third-party service providers), on behalf of Kuhoo or its Lending Partners, to engage in collection efforts to recover amounts that You failed to repay, pursuant to these (i) Terms & Conditions; and/or (ii) terms and conditions of the loan agreement.
- These collection efforts may involve, inter alia, contacting You directly or any other contact details provided by You at the time of account creation, submitting Your information to a collection agency, or initiating appropriate legal action.
USER COMMUNICATIONS
Accepting these Terms & Conditions constitutes the User’s express consent to being contacted by Kuhoo, its agents, representatives, affiliates, or authorized persons at any contact number, physical address, or electronic address provided during account registration. The User further consents to being contacted through various means, including but not limited to SMS messages (including text messages), WhatsApp, calls using pre-recorded messages or artificial voice, calls and messages delivered via an auto-dialing or automatic texting system, and notifications sent via the Platform. Automated messages may be played when answered, whether by the User or another individual. If an agent or representative calls, they may also leave messages on the User’s voicemail, answering machine, or via SMS.
The User certifies, warrants, and represents that the contact information provided to Kuhoo is their own, is true, accurate, current, and complete, and not that of any third party. The User confirms their permission to receive calls at the telephone numbers and emails provided and agrees to promptly notify Kuhoo of any changes to their contact information.
Regarding unsolicited communications under the “National Do Not Call Registry” guidelines issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the User acknowledges that such laws will not apply to communications, calls, SMS, or WhatsApp messages received from Kuhoo, its agents, representatives, affiliates, or authorized persons acting on Kuhoo’s behalf.
ELIGIBILITY
The User hereby declares and agrees that he/she is of legal age, of sound mind, and legally competent to enter into a contract in India. The User is permitted to use Kuhoo’s Services in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. By registering on the Platform or availing any Service, the User agrees to abide by the Terms & Conditions stated herein. In case of any violation of the Terms & Conditions of Kuhoo or its Lending Partners, Kuhoo reserves the right to terminate all Services and restrict the User’s access to the Platform in the future.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Kuhoo reserves the right to modify, amend, add, or remove portions of these Terms & Conditions at any time, with or without prior notice. Any changes made to the Terms & Conditions will be updated on the Platform and will take effect immediately upon posting unless stated otherwise. Users are encouraged to periodically review this page for the latest updates. Continued use of the Platform or Services after such changes constitutes the User’s acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
USER ACCOUNT
To avail Our Services or use the Platform, You must create and maintain an account. For account creation, You are required to provide information, including but not limited to Your email ID, contact number, and any other details deemed necessary by Kuhoo, as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account credentials, including passwords. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under Your account and password. You must take all necessary precautions to ensure Your password remains confidential and secure, and You must notify Us immediately if You suspect Your password has been compromised or is being used in an unauthorised manner.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
The User acknowledges that Kuhoo charges a non-refundable convenience fee and/or technology usage fee for facilitating loans through Kuhoo or its Lending Partners, and agrees to pay the same. This fee is non-refundable even if the loan application is rejected or disapproved for any reason. Additionally, once the User receives the loan amount from Kuhoo or its Lending Partners, there will be no cancellation of the Service, and the loan agreement will govern the User’s obligations with Kuhoo or the respective Lending Partner.
LICENSE AND LIMITED ACCESS.
The User acknowledges and agrees that Kuhoo grants only a limited license to access the Platform solely for the purpose of availing its Services. The User shall not modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform, nor reformat or frame any portion of its pages. The limited rights granted are non-transferable and do not permit any resale or commercial use of the Platform or its contents. The Platform is provided for the User’s personal and non-commercial use only. The User shall not permit third parties to: (i) copy or distribute the Platform or any outputs generated by it; (ii) reproduce, alter, modify, or reverse engineer the Platform; or (iii) create derivative works from the Platform.
The User agrees not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or distribute the Platform or any portion thereof for commercial purposes. All intellectual property, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, digital downloads, and data compilations, shall remain the sole property of Kuhoo, and the User shall not claim any rights over Kuhoo’s intellectual property.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Notwithstanding anything herein, Kuhoo, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, or related parties shall not be liable to the User or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of revenue or profits arising from these Terms & Conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the User waives, releases, and holds harmless Kuhoo, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, or related parties from all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, expenses, and causes of action arising from the use of the Platform.
The Platform and its features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Kuhoo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Kuhoo makes reasonable efforts to ensure the availability of the Platform and its features, but does not warrant that they will meet the User’s requirements or be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Kuhoo further disclaims warranties regarding results obtained from the Platform or the accuracy, reliability, or quality of its outputs.
Kuhoo shall not be liable for loss or damage to the User’s data or information resulting from events beyond its control, including internet issues, hacker attacks, denial of service attacks, or malicious software.
Any material downloaded or obtained through the Platform is at the User’s discretion and risk. The User is solely responsible for any damage to their device or loss of data from such actions. No advice or information obtained from Kuhoo or the Platform creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions.
Kuhoo is not liable for failures or delays caused by (i) acts or omissions of Lending Partners; (ii) actions taken in good faith to comply with laws or prevent fraud; or (iii) force majeure events such as vandalism, hacking, theft, service disruptions, severe weather, or other events beyond Kuhoo’s control.
Kuhoo and its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for injury, death, loss, claim, delay, or any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including damages caused by the User’s access to the Platform or downloads from it.
Kuhoo makes no representations or warranties on behalf of Lending Partners regarding the loans they provide. All liabilities related to such loans are governed by separate agreements between the Lending Partner and the User. Kuhoo is not responsible for actions by Lending Partners, including loan recovery processes.
THIRD PARTY LINKS/ADVERTISEMENTS
Links to third-party websites on the Platform are provided solely as references in connection with the Services, over which Kuhoo has no control. Kuhoo makes no warranties regarding the content of such websites, including their accuracy, completeness, or reliability, nor does it guarantee that they are free from claims of copyright, trademark, or other rights infringement, or free of viruses or contamination. Following a link to a third-party website is at the User’s own risk. The User acknowledges that such links do not imply any endorsement of, or responsibility for, the opinions, products, or Services offered at such sites or any representation about their content.
INDEMNITY
The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kuhoo, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, service providers, and agents from any claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from the misuse of the Platform or Services, violation of these Terms & Conditions, breach of representations or warranties, infringement of intellectual property or other rights, or posting of offensive or unlawful material on the Platform. This clause shall survive the termination of these Terms & Conditions.
APPLICABLE LAWS
The use of the Platform and these Terms & Conditions, including the Privacy Policy, shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the use of the Platform.
